We want our rescued pets to have loving, permanent homes and will do all that we can to match them with the right home and family.  Please let us know what you are looking for in a new pet (i.e. personality, activity level, and family compatibility) so that we can help you find the perfect new family member!  Pet ownership is a commitment of many years, and you will receive many years of joy and love from your new pet.  All of our rescued pets live with a local foster family until their forever home is found.  They are all  checked by a veterinarian,  current on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered and dogs are micro-chipped.

Oscar is a Dachshund/Bassett hound mix, about 38 pounds and a 1 1/2 years old.  Oscar will kennel without an issue and will put himself to bed at night with his blankie.  Oscar is protective of his food and his toys, so feeding him alone or inside his crate works great.  Oscar loves to be petted and have his belly rubbed, and will fall asleep while you rub his belly!  He loves to play with his foster dog siblings.  Oscar will need another dog in the home as he has separation anxiety if no one is home during the day.   He is a very smart, attentive boy; he already knows No, Sit and Down! He has been fully vetted and microchipped.
