We want our rescued pets to have loving, permanent homes and will do all that we can to match them with the right home and family.  Please let us know what you are looking for in a new pet (i.e. personality, activity level, and family compatibility) so that we can help you find the perfect new family member!  Pet ownership is a commitment of many years, and you will receive many years of joy and love from your new pet.  All of our rescued pets live with a local foster family until their forever home is found.  They are all  checked by a veterinarian,  current on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered and dogs are micro-chipped.

Lady Marmalade is a beautiful sweet 2 year-old orange and white kitty that found herself abandoned and pregnant in the country.   Neighbors in the area notice her when she appeared with 5 babies but between the coyotes and mean neighbors she lost all but one (Jo).  A nice man started feeding her and her babies to try to catch them so they would be out of danger.  When he was finally able to gather them up he called NBAR to help find them safer homes.  After being in foster care, Lady Marmalade and her baby have showed a very sweet loving side and would make wonderful pets. We will even consider her to be an inside/outside kitty if her new owner would prefer.
