We want our rescued pets to have loving, permanent homes and will do all that we can to match them with the right home and family.  Please let us know what you are looking for in a new pet (i.e. personality, activity level, and family compatibility) so that we can help you find the perfect new family member!  Pet ownership is a commitment of many years, and you will receive many years of joy and love from your new pet.  All of our rescued pets live with a local foster family until their forever home is found.  They are all  checked by a veterinarian,  current on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered and dogs are micro-chipped.

OPIE IS IN A FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE HE IS ADOPTED!

Opie has the cutest ears with a personality to match!  Opie is about a year and a few months old and we believe he is a corgi mix.  He does best with dogs that are his size or smaller.  Opie has lots of energy to burn and would love a family that is active and will take him for long walks or to the dog park.  

Opie has been neutered, has gone through heartworm treatment and no longer has those awful worms!  He will need to be retested in 6 months but as long as he is kept on monthly preventative, he will not get them back.  Opie also has all his shots, and has been microchipped.  His adoption fee of $425 includes all that, plus the transport fee to CT.  We use a USDA licensed and registered transport company that delivers our adopted dogs to their new homes in the northeast weekly.
