We want our rescued pets to have loving, permanent homes and will do all that we can to match them with the right home and family.  Please let us know what you are looking for in a new pet (i.e. personality, activity level, and family compatibility) so that we can help you find the perfect new family member!  Pet ownership is a commitment of many years, and you will receive many years of joy and love from your new pet.  All of our rescued pets live with a local foster family until their forever home is found.  They are all  checked by a veterinarian,  current on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered and dogs are micro-chipped.

Teddy is about 7-8 years old and weighs 12 lbs.  He is a Silky Terrier mix.  Teddy loves big and small dogs, cats, and horses!  He is great with kids and all adults.  He is crate trained and house trained and walks well on a leash.  His foster mom tells us that he doesn't run away from you when he is off leash.  Teddy needs either another dog as companionship or to be with his humans. He gets anxious when either his doggy housemates or his humans are out of sight. He also loves being outdoors, running and playing and then snuggling on the couch with you. Teddy is a low-to-no shed type dog and will  need professional grooming to keep his coat looking good!  Teddy has been neutered, is up to date on his shots and is microchipped.
