Learn more about the Shih Tzu.
We want our rescued pets to have loving, permanent homes and will do all that we can to match them with the right home and family. Please let us know what you are looking for in a new pet (i.e. personality, activity level, and family compatibility) so that we can help you find the perfect new family member! Pet ownership is a commitment of many years, and you will receive many years of joy and love from your new pet. All of our rescued pets live with a local foster family until their forever home is found. They are all checked by a veterinarian, current on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered and dogs are micro-chipped.
Nicholas is a young male Shih Tzu, about 2 years old and weighs 13 lbs. He was discovered running loose but no owners were found. He had to have his left eye removed as it had ruptured from an injury. It does not bother him one bit! Nicholas is a very playful, energetic pup and loves playing with other dogs. He also oves playing with toys and also snuggling on the couch with you. He can be a bit shy when meeting new people at first, but it doesn't take long for him to realize he is a friend. He does not bother the cats at all in his foster home. As a dog with ever-growing fur, he will need constant brushing and monthly professional grooming. His coat is very soft and the colors are extraordinary! He has been neutered, up to date on his vaccinations and is microchipped! Nicholas' adoption fee is $180.
If you have any questions, please email us at: newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com. To apply to adopt Nicholas, please go here: http://www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net/adoption-application22.html
