We want our rescued pets to have loving, permanent homes and will do all that we can to match them with the right home and family.  Please let us know what you are looking for in a new pet (i.e. personality, activity level, and family compatibility) so that we can help you find the perfect new family member!  Pet ownership is a commitment of many years, and you will receive many years of joy and love from your new pet.  All of our rescued pets live with a local foster family until their forever home is found.  They are all  checked by a veterinarian,  current on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered and dogs are micro-chipped.

Enzo was found in a garbage strewn cove in a lousy part of town by a rescue team. Reeking of cigarette smoke, matted, starved so his spine and hips jutted, and his nails overgrown.  This sweeter-than-sweet soul had clearly been in a home, but dumped in this desolate place.  Enzo allowed his foster mom to trim every nail and cut every mat, even from between his foot pads (hyper sensitive) because HE IS JUST THAT SWEET! He is house trained and loves to sleep with his foster mom.  Enzo requires a fenced yard, a calm home, with NO young children and no other dogs or just one other sweet dog.  I am sure he will even love cats, he is so mild mannered (he was non-reactive to the clinic kitties).  He does not do well with chaos.  Adopters with an excellent history of vet care for previous/current pets is required. Local to Memphis adopters only.  No smokers—Enzo has quit that habit cold turkey!  He is heartworm negative and fully vetted and microchipped.  His adoption fee is $180.
