We want our rescued pets to have loving, permanent homes and will do all that we can to match them with the right home and family.  Please let us know what you are looking for in a new pet (i.e. personality, activity level, and family compatibility) so that we can help you find the perfect new family member!  Pet ownership is a commitment of many years, and you will receive many years of joy and love from your new pet.  All of our rescued pets live with a local foster family until their forever home is found.  They are all  checked by a veterinarian,  current on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered and dogs are micro-chipped.

HI!!  Hanns here (aka Hansi-Hanns or Hanns-Hanns) and I am an adorably quirky and smart 7 year old, 19 lb. male Min Pin who is ready to find my good thing!  I have learned a lot of new and exciting things since I was rescued from a nasty puppy mill in March.  I have learned that grass is AWESOME.  I have learned that I love running, jumping and bouncing on grass.  I have learned to socialize and play with other dogs with manners.  I have learned I will always have food and water here so I don’t get mad anymore. I have learned that my kennel is not a bad place, it’s a safe place.  I have learned to walk on a leash with a collar, but not at night and not in a harness because that’s just too much. And I have learned to go outside to use the bathroom…and not in my mom’s closet.  That one took a minute, but I finally got it.  YAY ME!!  I have learned toys, treats, and belly rubs are LIFE!!

Oh, I have also learned I’m not a fan of bath time, super loud barky dogs…like my foster brother, or fireworks. I like children and am indifferent to cats.  Lastly, I’m continually learning, even when you don’t think I am.  A SECURE, FENCED IN YARD IS A MUST FOR HIS NEW HOME.  Hanns is a flight risk.

I am already neutered, heart worm negative, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations & preventives to keep me happy and healthy. My adoption fee is $180.
