We want our rescued pets to have loving, permanent homes and will do all that we can to match them with the right home and family.  Please let us know what you are looking for in a new pet (i.e. personality, activity level, and family compatibility) so that we can help you find the perfect new family member!  Pet ownership is a commitment of many years, and you will receive many years of joy and love from your new pet.  All of our rescued pets live with a local foster family until their forever home is found.  They are all  checked by a veterinarian,  current on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered and dogs are micro-chipped.

Chocolate has a beautiful purrsonality to match her gorgeous coat. This sweet, outgoing girl has burst of orange mixed in with her tabby stripes. We know she got her lovely stripes from her mom, since she's a lynx point Siamese, but we can only assume her coloring comes from her cat dad's genes. Speaking of mysteries, Chocolate was the only kitten in her litter that tested positive for FIV (Feline immunodeficiency virus). Again, we assume FIV was passed on to her by cat dad since her siblings and mother are FIV negative. FIV positive cats can, and do, live as long and healthy a life as FIV negative cats. This doesn't mean they will never become ill, as they are immunocompromised, so illnesses can be easier to catch and harder to fight off. However, with high quality nutrition, a stress-free, clean, indoor environment, routine vet checks and lots of love they live long, normal healthy lives.

Chocolate i s not shy about as king for human attention,  she LOVES to be loved on! She gets along with other cats, does fine with the small senior dog in her foster home, has b een spayed, tested negative for FeLV, litter box trained and ready for her forever home. Chocolate is a very small cat who weighs around 6 pounds. (Her siblings and mom cat are all small cats.) She'd be a great kitty for someone who is home a lot and/or wants a kitty who will hang out with their human a lot. Chocolate really just wants her own furever home that she can shine in.
