We want our rescued pets to have loving, permanent homes and will do all that we can to match them with the right home and family.  Please let us know what you are looking for in a new pet (i.e. personality, activity level, and family compatibility) so that we can help you find the perfect new family member!  Pet ownership is a commitment of many years, and you will receive many years of joy and love from your new pet.  All of our rescued pets live with a local foster family until their forever home is found.  They are all  checked by a veterinarian,  current on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered and dogs are micro-chipped.

GARFIELD IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE HE IS ADOPTED!

Garfield is a perfect family cat. He looks like a Siberian/Domestic Mediumhair mix.  He gets along with everyone. During the day he likes to keep to himself by playing or finding a comfy spot on the couch or his human's bed. He will seek out your bed waiting to snuggle up next to you.  He does fine with kids and a small dog as long as properly introduced. He is not very vocal and will quietly meow if you have Temptations Treats for him.

He was cruelly dumped outside when his owner passed away but has not lost any of his sweet personality. Thanks to the quick thinking and notification from a relative we were able to rescue him and his "siblings."

He is neutered, has had all age appropriate vaccines, microchip, and a confirmed NEGATIVE FIV/FeLV test.  

Garfield's  adoption fee of $265 includes the transport to CT  .  We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring him up north to his adopted family.
