We want our rescued pets to have loving, permanent homes and will do all that we can to match them with the right home and family.  Please let us know what you are looking for in a new pet (i.e. personality, activity level, and family compatibility) so that we can help you find the perfect new family member!  Pet ownership is a commitment of many years, and you will receive many years of joy and love from your new pet.  All of our rescued pets live with a local foster family until their forever home is found.  They are all  checked by a veterinarian,  current on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered and dogs are micro-chipped.

Check out those green eyes! Cosmo is a very sweet guy who loves and demands human attention often. He gives kisses, loves to be carried around and carried around. Cosmo fended for himself outside before he came to NBAR. While he gets along with other cats, it does take him a bit to accept a new friend and he prefers to be the boss. He doesn't mind dogs that are calm with cats. We aren't sure how would do with small children since he's never met one. Therefore, we feel like older children would be best for him. Cosmo loves hanging out on the screened porch at his foster home. He's also been working on learning to walk on a leash. He has been neutered, is up to date on vaccines, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, litter box trained and ready for his forever home.
