We want our rescued pets to have loving, permanent homes and will do all that we can to match them with the right home and family. Please let us know what you are looking for in a new pet (i.e. personality, activity level, and family compatibility) so that we can help you find the perfect new family member! Pet ownership is a commitment of many years, and you will receive many years of joy and love from your new pet. All of our rescued pets live with a local foster family until their forever home is found. They are all checked by a veterinarian, current on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered and dogs are micro-chipped.
DJ IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO VA ONCE HE IS ADOPTED!
DJ is an extremely special one year old bully mix. What makes DJ so special is that he is hearing impaired. His fosters currently use sign language (and just some made up hand motions) as a way to communicate with him, and he has caught on very quickly. He can hear certain pitches, but for the most part, he cannot hear average day to day talk/activity. Vacuums? Nope. Thunder? Nope. Doorbell? NADA. He loves to spend time outside in the sun, and he loves to play. He is house trained and walks wonderfully on a leash. DJ is great with other dogs and children but is unsure about cats. If you are looking for a super special cuddle buddy and bed hog, DJ is your pup! He would be the PERFECT addition to any family.
He is fully vetted including neuter, microchip, puppy shots as well as rabies shot. His adoption fee of $500 includes the transport to VA.
