We want our rescued pets to have loving, permanent homes and will do all that we can to match them with the right home and family.  Please let us know what you are looking for in a new pet (i.e. personality, activity level, and family compatibility) so that we can help you find the perfect new family member!  Pet ownership is a commitment of many years, and you will receive many years of joy and love from your new pet.  All of our rescued pets live with a local foster family until their forever home is found.  They are all  checked by a veterinarian,  current on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered and dogs are micro-chipped.

I’m Olaf.  What do you think of my new name?  I don’t remember what my name was before I came to New Beginnings.  I probably didn’t even have a name, because those people put me out in the heat to survive on my own!  What were they thinking??  I guess I’m lucky they set me “free” in Shelby Farms park where someone would find me.  I was scared, so I ran from them for two days before I was too exhausted and thirsty to run any more.  Well, now I am safe and well cared for and get blueberries at bedtime….what a life!  My face may look a little grumpy at times, but I’m really just trying to look “distinguished”.  My grumpy face melts away when you pet me and give me attention.  I really look forward to play time every day where I can run and jump fearlessly.
