We want our rescued pets to have loving, permanent homes and will do all that we can to match them with the right home and family.  Please let us know what you are looking for in a new pet (i.e. personality, activity level, and family compatibility) so that we can help you find the perfect new family member!  Pet ownership is a commitment of many years, and you will receive many years of joy and love from your new pet.  All of our rescued pets live with a local foster family until their forever home is found.  They are all  checked by a veterinarian,  current on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered and dogs are micro-chipped.

My name is Gemma and I'm a hound dog (at least that is what my foster mom thinks). I was found wandering with two other young dogs who don't look like me and was brought to a really nice lady who lets me play with her dogs and a few other pups who are looking for homes. My foster mom says I am the sweetest pup. I am well socialized and love playing outside, with toys, with all my dog friends. I really love people and snuggling. I particularly like lounging on the back of the couch. I  love treats and am willing to work for them. I am doing really well with my house training and hardly have any accidents in the house and none at night time. You do not have to get up with me at night. I play appropriately with the different ages/sizes of dogs and tend to be on the submissive side. I am thoughtful and intentional when I interact with the animals and people I encounter. I love any and all attention. 

My foster friends and I have been participating in the Paw Pal program at a local high school where we do weekly visits and are loved by over 500 students who are learning about responsible pet ownership.

I really am an amazing girl and I am ready to join my forever home. I am fully vetted including  spaying, microchip, all puppy vaccinations, as well as rabies vaccination. My adoption fee is $500 and includes my transportation to my new home.
