We want our rescued pets to have loving, permanent homes and will do all that we can to match them with the right home and family.  Please let us know what you are looking for in a new pet (i.e. personality, activity level, and family compatibility) so that we can help you find the perfect new family member!  Pet ownership is a commitment of many years, and you will receive many years of joy and love from your new pet.  All of our rescued pets live with a local foster family until their forever home is found.  They are all  checked by a veterinarian,  current on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered and dogs are micro-chipped.

This long-legged spotted beauty is Violet! She is so confused why she has had no applications. Violet is an adorable little 4-month-old mixed breed pup. She is currently in a foster home with her sister, Poppy, and other large fur animals. Violet is an incredibly smart dog who has learned "sit" very quickly and is very treat motivated. Violet can be on the shy, reserved, and quiet side compared to her siblings, but she loves attention. She may benefit from having a companion animal to help her warmup, but she'd be fine as an only dog too with ALL of the attention. She loves to cuddle in your lap. She will be the first one to flip over so that she can get ALL the belly rubs on her cute little spotted belly. She does the cutest little "awoos" when she is excited. She lives in a home with a 7-year-old girl which has proven she is excellent with children. Violet lets her human sister tote her around and dress her up and never complains. She loves a good stick in the yard, and she will even try to throw it to herself. She LOVES water. Of all of these things, her favorite place to be is cuddled up on the couch with you for naps and relaxing.  She is potty trained and kennel trained, sleeping through the night in her kennel. Violet may need some time to warm up to you, but once she does, she will be your loving best fur friend forever. 

Violet is looking for her forever home with a fenced in yard and excellent previous vet history. Violet is currently taking applications for her family, and she cannot wait!   *Feeling froggy?? Violet is fully vetted including all shots; she is spayed and microchipped.  She's also current on heartworm prevention. Violet's adoption fee of $550 includes the transport to PA. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Violet up north to her new family.
