We want our rescued pets to have loving, permanent homes and will do all that we can to match them with the right home and family.  Please let us know what you are looking for in a new pet (i.e. personality, activity level, and family compatibility) so that we can help you find the perfect new family member!  Pet ownership is a commitment of many years, and you will receive many years of joy and love from your new pet.  All of our rescued pets live with a local foster family until their forever home is found.  They are all  checked by a veterinarian,  current on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered and dogs are micro-chipped.

Meet Ulani! 

She is a sweet, loving 2 year old Shepherd mix. She is a petite low rider that weighs about 45lbs. She is very easy-going, with a laid-back, very “chill” personality. Ulani loves the outdoors. Once there, she likes to do the zoomies- which is running back-and-forth as fast as she can, testing her speed. She also loves exploring outside, playing with other pups and her toys. She ultimately loves getting belly rubs, and snuggling on the couch with her favorite human watching TV.  Ulani would love a family with another dog to play with. Over the time I’ve had Ulani, I’ve also fostered many other dogs. There were some who came to me, terrified, scared to death. All of which, Ulani, took in comforting them, showing them around, & making them feel safe. Ulani would love a family with kids to play with. One of her favorite humans is the 10 year old son in her foster home. She is one of the SMARTEST. Ulani has the best manners & has been the perfect lady in every situation. She has passed every test with flying colors. She really is a special girl with a heart of gold. She deserves a family just a special as she is to love and adore her! Ulani is potty trained, kennel trained, & leash trained. She is completely vetted and ready for adoption! Vetting includes spaying/neutering, microchip, rabies as well as all puppy vaccinations, and has been on preventatives. Her adoption fee of $550 includes the transport to VA. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Ulani up north to her new family.
