We want our rescued pets to have loving, permanent homes and will do all that we can to match them with the right home and family.  Please let us know what you are looking for in a new pet (i.e. personality, activity level, and family compatibility) so that we can help you find the perfect new family member!  Pet ownership is a commitment of many years, and you will receive many years of joy and love from your new pet.  All of our rescued pets live with a local foster family until their forever home is found.  They are all  checked by a veterinarian,  current on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered and dogs are micro-chipped.

Introducing Babette, a tiny 7-year-old female Yorkie in search of her forever home. Babette is a tender, affectionate, and loving companion. She adores cuddling and will contentedly spend hours beside you, basking in all the affection you offer. Initially shy, she quickly warms up and becomes a devoted lifelong friend. Babette would thrive in a patient, serene environment, with someone willing to provide the decompression time, attention, and care she requires. An adult-only, single-dog household would suit her best, as she was the sole canine with her previous owner. 
Babette is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and receives monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. She is cat-friendly, or at least curious, showing no bother towards them, and is trained to use potty pads. Although she has not been trained for outdoor potty due to recent upheavals, she consistently uses the potty pad. 
Babette's life was recently disrupted by the sudden loss of her owner of seven years due to medical issues. Understandably, she's a bit bewildered and scared, yet her capacity for love remains intact. Despite her small stature, Babette has a vast heart and is ready to love a new person or family once more. Her adoption fee of $550.00 includes transportation to her new family up north.
