We want our rescued pets to have loving, permanent homes and will do all that we can to match them with the right home and family. Please let us know what you are looking for in a new pet (i.e. personality, activity level, and family compatibility) so that we can help you find the perfect new family member! Pet ownership is a commitment of many years, and you will receive many years of joy and love from your new pet. All of our rescued pets live with a local foster family until their forever home is found. They are all checked by a veterinarian, current on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered and dogs are micro-chipped.
**POPPY IS IN HER FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE SHE IS ADOPTED**
Meet Poppy! Poppy is a young, mixed breed, petite girl with spots. Her personality can be described as outgoing and loving. Poppy is friends with everyone she meets, but she can be a little shy when she first meets you. She is excellent with all dogs of different sizes. Poppy enjoys having someone to play with, but she can also be caught snoozing all by herself. Poppy's favorite thing is to give KISSES. She will lick you all day to show her affection. She is an amazingly sweet and playful puppy. She lives in a home with a 7-year-old girl which has proven she is excellent with children; she is patient and loving with kids. She has mastered the "sit" command and "come" command with the motivation of a treat. She is so silly with toys; she likes to carry them around to rearrange them, but she doesn't really play with them or chew them. There is nothing but good things to say about her blossoming personality. Poppy is potty trained, kennel trained, and leash trained. She sleeps all night in a kennel and can even be found in her kennel with the door open. She is a wonderful little girl who we anticipate staying around the medium size. Poppy is looking for her forever home with a fenced in backyard and excellent previous vet history. She is currently taking applications for her NEW BEST FRIEND.
Poppy is fully vetted including all shots; she is spayed and microchipped. She's also current on heartworm prevention. Poppy's adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to CT. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Poppy up north to her new family.
If you have any questions, please email us at newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com, and we will answer as soon as we possibly can.
