We want our rescued pets to have loving, permanent homes and will do all that we can to match them with the right home and family.  Please let us know what you are looking for in a new pet (i.e. personality, activity level, and family compatibility) so that we can help you find the perfect new family member!  Pet ownership is a commitment of many years, and you will receive many years of joy and love from your new pet.  All of our rescued pets live with a local foster family until their forever home is found.  They are all  checked by a veterinarian,  current on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered and dogs are micro-chipped.

Hi! My name is Mandy, but my mom calls me MANDA PANDA! I am about 2 years old and 55lbs. My mom says I am just a big baby with brown soulful eyes, an underbite, and a pouty lower lip. I love nothing more than snuggling up with my humans. My favorite thing to do is jump in the bed with my mom and give her face kisses! I also enjoy playing with other dogs of all sizes, napping on the couch with my family, or carrying toys around the house in my mouth showing them off to everyone. Mandy is crate trained, leash trained, and housebroken. Mandy really just wants a family who will just love her for the rest of her days. She loves playing with puppies and think all of them are her babies. However, she doesn't notice the size difference very well so we would like her in a home with a dog closer to her own size. We also recommend children 10+ years old due to her zealous play style and her tail when wagging is very strong. Mandy really doesn't like fireworks, thunder, and other loud or startling noises. She does enjoy going on walks and car rides, but we do use a dual leash connected to her collar and harness as a precaution. As stated before she is a big baby and needs excellent leash handling if startled on a walk. Mandy is my velcro foster dog and I love her to pieces! She deserves all of the love in the world! Mandy is searching for her forever family! She is completed vetted. Vetting includes spaying/neutering, microchip, rabies as well as all vaccinations, and has been on preventatives. Her adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to PA. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Mandy up north to her new family.
