We want our rescued pets to have loving, permanent homes and will do all that we can to match them with the right home and family. Please let us know what you are looking for in a new pet (i.e. personality, activity level, and family compatibility) so that we can help you find the perfect new family member! Pet ownership is a commitment of many years, and you will receive many years of joy and love from your new pet. All of our rescued pets live with a local foster family until their forever home is found. They are all checked by a veterinarian, current on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered and dogs are micro-chipped.
BEAR IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE ADOPTED!
Hello, my name is Bear and I’m here to sweep you off your feet. I am a year old mixed breed dog that is around 75lbs. He is a high-energy dude, always ready for an adventure. Whether it’s chasing a ball, exploring the great outdoors, or learning new things, count him in! He would thrive with a big yard or someone who can walk him/exercise him. He is super smart and a quick learner. Bear is treat motivated which makes learning a little bit easier. He knows basic commands like sit and paw/shake. He loves his playtime with his ropes, balls, and squeaky toys. He walks good on a leash if he uses the gentle leader collar. Bear is also crate trained and housebroken. Bear gets very excited so he is not fit for a home with cats and small children due to his size and depending on the dog he should be able to be in a home with dog. He is 75 lbs- and doesn’t realize his size. He thinks he can jump up or lay on top of you. He is looking for his forever home and family to call his own! He is fully vetted including spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all puppy vaccinations. His adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to CT. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Bear up north to his new family.
