We want our rescued pets to have loving, permanent homes and will do all that we can to match them with the right home and family.  Please let us know what you are looking for in a new pet (i.e. personality, activity level, and family compatibility) so that we can help you find the perfect new family member!  Pet ownership is a commitment of many years, and you will receive many years of joy and love from your new pet.  All of our rescued pets live with a local foster family until their forever home is found.  They are all  checked by a veterinarian,  current on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered and dogs are micro-chipped.

This sweet girl was found in a backyard in Southaven in March 2024. Stray bunnies may take a while to warm up to humans, but Pita is easy-going, enjoys attention and doesn’t mind being held. When she sees you she’ll run up to say hello, most likely hoping you’ve brought a piece of her favorite treat- strawberry! Pita is curious and enjoys exploring and tearing up cardboard boxes. She does not seem interested in chewing wood trim or cords (although any area your rabbit has access to should be bunny-proofed). Pita has lived in a foster home with dogs and didn’t mind them. She would likely also be fine with a gentle cat friend. Pita would be a wonderful addition to home with children as well.
