We want our rescued pets to have loving, permanent homes and will do all that we can to match them with the right home and family.  Please let us know what you are looking for in a new pet (i.e. personality, activity level, and family compatibility) so that we can help you find the perfect new family member!  Pet ownership is a commitment of many years, and you will receive many years of joy and love from your new pet.  All of our rescued pets live with a local foster family until their forever home is found.  They are all  checked by a veterinarian,  current on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered and dogs are micro-chipped.

ANNIE IS IN HER FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO VA ONCE ADOPTED!

Meet Annie this little 6 year old Chihuahua is the most loving and laid back dog. If her foster sister has a chew that Annie wants, Annie will run to the back door, followed by Snicket and run outside and once Snicket is out, turn around, run back in and go and grab the chew and head to her little Home area.  She will do the same with treats, anything Snicket has, Annie wants it, but only to have possession. She doesn’t eat it, chew it or play with it. And she loves to sit in your lap or right next to you and just lay quietly. Just putting your hand on her or pet her and she is happy. She is very affectionate, a little love bug. She will make sure all four paws are on a pee pad before she goes. She is housebroken, but uses the pee pad when the foster is gone. She’s a lover dog. Annie loves walks, but she can’t go on long walks because she  has a narrowing of the trachea that causes her to cough some times. She takes 2 medications that keep her from coughing a lot. She still enjoys the backyard running and playing just fine. She will steal your heart. She is fully vetted. Vetting includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all puppy vaccinations. Her adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to VA. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Annie up north to her new family.
