We want our rescued pets to have loving, permanent homes and will do all that we can to match them with the right home and family. Please let us know what you are looking for in a new pet (i.e. personality, activity level, and family compatibility) so that we can help you find the perfect new family member! Pet ownership is a commitment of many years, and you will receive many years of joy and love from your new pet. All of our rescued pets live with a local foster family until their forever home is found. They are all checked by a veterinarian, current on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered and dogs are micro-chipped.
Nanook is a 7 week old Shih Tzu mix Female puppy who was rescued with her four siblings and their Shih Tzu mom (picture attached) when they were 3 days old from a Mississippi shelter. She currently weighs 3.10 pounds, so she is probably going to be on the small side since her mom only weighs about 15 pounds. She is very playful and gets along well with children and other dogs. Due to her age, she would probably do well with cats as well. She will be ready to go to a forever home around mid April once her vetting is complete.
Nanook's adoption fee is $450 and will be transported to New England by the FDA registered transport company we use regularly. The adoption fee includes everything, including vetting done prior to travel, microchip and health certificate.
