We want our rescued pets to have loving, permanent homes and will do all that we can to match them with the right home and family.  Please let us know what you are looking for in a new pet (i.e. personality, activity level, and family compatibility) so that we can help you find the perfect new family member!  Pet ownership is a commitment of many years, and you will receive many years of joy and love from your new pet.  All of our rescued pets live with a local foster family until their forever home is found.  They are all  checked by a veterinarian,  current on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered and dogs are micro-chipped.

Callie is a one year old Akita/Shepherd Mix and will be ready for transport to New England on or after 9/19/13.  Her adoption fee is $395, which includes all vetting (spay, vaccinations, rabies tags, microchip and health certificate) and the transportation cost.  Callie is currently in a foster home in MS.  Callie is a 55 pound one year old, fawn and black colored, Akita/Shepard mix. She is a very happy girl that loves to play. She has a lot of puppy energy and will need someone who can take her for walks and play with her daily. She loves to have a toy or another dog to run and play with. She likes to curl up on her bed to sleep. She is kennel and house trained. She does not get on furniture. She is currently learning how to sit and not to jump up on people and counters. She is still a little skitish when she meets a new person, but doesn't take long to warm up to them. She has had her rabies, bordetella, and DHPP shots. She is heartworm negative.
