We want our rescued pets to have loving, permanent homes and will do all that we can to match them with the right home and family. Please let us know what you are looking for in a new pet (i.e. personality, activity level, and family compatibility) so that we can help you find the perfect new family member! Pet ownership is a commitment of many years, and you will receive many years of joy and love from your new pet. All of our rescued pets live with a local foster family until their forever home is found. They are all checked by a veterinarian, current on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered and dogs are micro-chipped.

A FENCED IN YARD IS A MUST!
Rainie is a precious Briard/Terrier mix and she is estimated to be around two years old. She is small to medium size about 30-35 pounds. Rainie would do great as the only dog or in a home with other dogs. When she is outside she likes to run and play and when she is inside she loves to cuddle up with you on the couch. Rainie will need a fenced in yard because she likes to venture off and explore if the opportunity arises. She loves everyone and is great with kids. Rainie is 100% housebroken as well as being crate trained and she is content sleeping in her crate. She is also a great bed dog! She is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations and microchipped. Rainie did test light positive for heartworms and because she was young & healthy we opted for the "fast kill" heartworm treatment. Once her 30 day rest period is up she will be ready for her forever home. On a side note, even after treatment and health clearance, in rare cases some former heartworm patients can still test positive for the heartworm antigen for four to six months after treatment, which is why the dog should be reâtested in four months and again six months later while being kept on the monthly preventative.
Rainie is in a foster home in Mississippi and will be transported to PA via Got Orphans Transport which is a registered and licensed transportation company that works with southern rescues to transport dogs to their forever homes up North. Her adoption fee is $425 which includes the transport fee, health certificate, microchip and of course all vetting that has already been done or is in progress.

Thank you for considering a rescue dog!
