We want our rescued pets to have loving, permanent homes and will do all that we can to match them with the right home and family.  Please let us know what you are looking for in a new pet (i.e. personality, activity level, and family compatibility) so that we can help you find the perfect new family member!  Pet ownership is a commitment of many years, and you will receive many years of joy and love from your new pet.  All of our rescued pets live with a local foster family until their forever home is found.  They are all  checked by a veterinarian,  current on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered and dogs are micro-chipped.

Newton is a 6 month old male mixed breed puppy.  He is very sweet, loving and playful.  Currently he weighs about 30 pounds and is estimated to be lab size (50 lbs when full grown). Newton does well with kids, other dogs and cats. He came to his foster mom when luckily the owners of the car that almost hit him pulled over and caught him. He was in very poor condition with a choker chain wrapped around his neck attached to 5 ft of rope, which one can only assume was used to keep him tied up outdoors.   Newt loves playing with his toys, snuggling on the couch and belly rubs and knows how to use a doggy door.   He would make a great addition to any family.

NEWTON will be available for adoption/transport on or after May 9th, 2014. 

NEWTON is in a foster home in Tennessee and will be transported to the Rochester area via Got Orphans Transport which is a registered and licensed transportation company that works with southern rescues to transport dogs to their forever homes.  

His adoption fee is $425 which includes the transport fee, health certificate, microchip and of course all vetting that has already been done or is in progress.
