We want our rescued pets to have loving, permanent homes and will do all that we can to match them with the right home and family.  Please let us know what you are looking for in a new pet (i.e. personality, activity level, and family compatibility) so that we can help you find the perfect new family member!  Pet ownership is a commitment of many years, and you will receive many years of joy and love from your new pet.  All of our rescued pets live with a local foster family until their forever home is found.  They are all  checked by a veterinarian,  current on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered and dogs are micro-chipped.

YOGI is a 12 week old male dachshund / lab mix.  As of (6/5/14) he weighs 15 pounds.  His foster mom believes he will be small to medium sized when fully grown. Yogi is very sweet loves to give out kisses, he also enjoys playing outside with his sisters and finding sticks to chew on.  Like all puppies he is full of energy and will need training and patience.   Yogi is up to date on his shots, neutered and microchipped. We are working on house training, leash training and crate training and so far things are going well.  Yogi was rescued from a high kill shelter in Memphis TN with his two sisters and their mom.  

Yogi and his  sisters are in a foster home in Mississippi and will be transported to Connecticut via Got Orphans Transport which is a registered and licensed transportation company that works with southern rescues to transport dogs to their forever homes.  

His adoption fee is $450 which includes the transport fee, health certificate, microchip and of course all vetting that has already been done or is in progress.
