We want our rescued pets to have loving, permanent homes and will do all that we can to match them with the right home and family.  Please let us know what you are looking for in a new pet (i.e. personality, activity level, and family compatibility) so that we can help you find the perfect new family member!  Pet ownership is a commitment of many years, and you will receive many years of joy and love from your new pet.  All of our rescued pets live with a local foster family until their forever home is found.  They are all  checked by a veterinarian,  current on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered and dogs are micro-chipped.

Bud is a really sweet and well behaved young male Rat Terrier about 4 years old and only 11 pounds.  He was rescued from a local shelter where he was surrendered by his owner.  We don't know why because he is a sweetheart!  She told the shelter he was heartworm positive but upon testing, it was found this is not true.  He does NOT have heartworms! Bud does a good job in the housetraining department.  He has had an accident or two as we've worked on a schedule for time outside.  He is crate trained for times when he needs to be left alone for a long period of time.  Bud does great with other dogs and cats.  He loves to spend his time napping by your side but also likes to play with his toys and other dogs in the family.
