We want our rescued pets to have loving, permanent homes and will do all that we can to match them with the right home and family.  Please let us know what you are looking for in a new pet (i.e. personality, activity level, and family compatibility) so that we can help you find the perfect new family member!  Pet ownership is a commitment of many years, and you will receive many years of joy and love from your new pet.  All of our rescued pets live with a local foster family until their forever home is found.  They are all  checked by a veterinarian,  current on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered and dogs are micro-chipped.

Lexie is in a foster home in the Memphis, TN area.  

Lexie got a rough start to her life, but she doesn't let that slow her down! She is a two year old tan chihuahua, who is on the smaller side at about 8 pounds. When she first came into her foster home she was very shy, refusing to leave her crate, but she has learned very quickly that we mean her no harm and now loves being a part of our daily lives. She likes to watch and observe everything that happens; especially if you're cooking! She enjoys car rides, and is starting to enjoy her trips to Petco. She has completely blossomed into a very sweet family dog! Lexie gets along with other dogs and cats. I think Lexie would do best in a quiet home, preferably one with no children, or older considerate children.
