We want our rescued pets to have loving, permanent homes and will do all that we can to match them with the right home and family. Please let us know what you are looking for in a new pet (i.e. personality, activity level, and family compatibility) so that we can help you find the perfect new family member! Pet ownership is a commitment of many years, and you will receive many years of joy and love from your new pet. All of our rescued pets live with a local foster family until their forever home is found. They are all checked by a veterinarian, current on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered and dogs are micro-chipped.

Tanner is a young, long-haired Chihuahua and is about a year old. He is sweet and calm and a world-champion snuggler! At around 8 lbs, he's pretty fragile, so he would do best in a home without young children that could accidentally hurt him, although he does just fine with kids. He likes other dogs, but the big ones sometimes play a little too rough for his liking. He is very much a people puppy and doesn't care much for his kennel or being left alone for long periods. Tanner expects to be with his new owners in their lap, on the couch and in the bed at night and he deserves nothing less than such royal treatment! He listens well, and is quickly learning to potty outside. He will be perfectly house-trained in no time with some continued, consistent training.

TANNER'S adoption fee is $170 which includes all vetting that has already been done or is in progress and his microchip .
