We want our rescued pets to have loving, permanent homes and will do all that we can to match them with the right home and family.  Please let us know what you are looking for in a new pet (i.e. personality, activity level, and family compatibility) so that we can help you find the perfect new family member!  Pet ownership is a commitment of many years, and you will receive many years of joy and love from your new pet.  All of our rescued pets live with a local foster family until their forever home is found.  They are all  checked by a veterinarian,  current on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered and dogs are micro-chipped.

Abe is a charming and bouncy little dachshund mix; weighs 9 pounds and is under a year old.  We are not sure what he is mixed with, but he sure is adorable!  Abe wants nothing more than to be in your lap.  He gets along great with other dogs, but unknown about cats.  He is still working on his house training and is coming along very well.  He is apartment appropriate but he would still need to be walked regularly.  Because of his size, we would like him to go to a home with older considerate children.  Abe is completely vetted, is on heartworm preventative and is microchipped.  His adoption fee is $180.
